Over the next few years, our goal is to turn the Pantea Group into a fully circular project so we can integrate a resource repurposing system according to three main lines of action: reduce, reuse and recycle. We want to do this in a way that guarantees economic, social and environmental improvement.

We are known for taking strong and confident steps. Which is why Jordi Samper, our Executive Chef, is currently training at the Basque Culinary Center to transform us into a zero-waste company so we can ensure minimal wastage.

Team

We conduct ongoing training in several fields for all members of the Pantea team. It is essential for us all to be equipped with the necessary tools to ensure excellent day-to-day performance and constant professional and personal growth.

The health of the entire team is also paramount, which is why we have implemented a staff menu that is nutritionally monitored on a two-weekly basis, banishing sugary drinks forever and replacing them with healthy natural beverages.

Environmental

Every day, we take a determined step forward with contributing towards preserving the environment. All our restaurants avoid the use of plastic in all their rooms, carry out effective recycling and use biodegradable straws and takeaway containers made from bioplastic (PLA, a corn-based polymer).

We are also aware that a third of the world’s food production goes to waste. To reduce this impact, at Pantea Group we raise awareness among our diners by recommending appropriate dishes and portions.

Social

On a social level, we collaborate with various non-profit organisations such as UNICEF, alongside which we contribute to eliminating child malnutrition around the world. We also organise annual food donations for Centre Sant Martí, and every year most of our establishments participate in Restaurants Against Hunger.
